Green Juice

Sorry these pictures are awful but I took them while holding Wyatt,ya that was fun. Anyways Tanner and I have been juicing a lot lately. Especially this green con-cation...

a whole stalk of celery
one head of romaine lettuce
2 green apples
a lime
and a bunch of spinach

I'll be honest I thought it was going to taste much worse but its actually quuite good and your body starts to crave it. I have noticed a difference in my energy and my allergies as well. If you want a way to get some extra nutrients in your diet try juicing. Ps- the juice normally looks different a more darker green but this was after it had been sitting for a bit. And no we arent doing this to loose weight just trying to get more nutrients in. I also watched this documentary on juicing very interesting!

Whats for Dinner?

Lemon Rosemary Garlic Chicken

Healthy quick easy my kind of meal. I didn't have time to marinade it but it still turned out pretty good.

1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon. dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon. salt
1/4 teaspoon. pepper
2 cloves garlic minced
1 1/2 to 2 lbs.boneless, skinless chicken breasts

In a large food storage bag, place lemon juice, oil, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper. Add chicken. Close bag and marinate in refrigerator 3 to 4 hours, turning bag occasionally. Place chicken in the slow cooker and pour marinade over. Cover and cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until tender, basting occasionally with the marinade, if possible. You may add veggies about 1 to 1 1/2 hours before done.
Serves 4 to 6.
