one year old

12 months. Wyatt turned one on 8/11/11. We did a swim BBQ party at my parents house on his actual birhtday. We did a hungry caterpillar themed party and it was so fun. I made a little caterpillar cake for him to eat and made cupcakes for everyone else. We did caterpillar grape and strawberry skewers and my sister made a caterpillar shaped rice krispie treat. We had lots of yummy food. When it was time for the cake he started by just touching the frosting and tasting it not quit sure yet. He got it on his face and hair and his cousin Lucy came by and licked his fingers. I helped him break into the cake and then he started shoving pieces into his mouth and feeding the dogs. It was super cute. He is such a messy eater!

He loves books and balls. He can play catch with us. He will throw the ball and back and forth all day. He loves to read his books. He drags them all over the house and brings them to me to read to him. He helps turn the pages and points to everything. He also loves any stuffed animal...he carried them around too. He loves to clap and smile! He is such a giggly ticklish boy. He started taking a few steps on his own the weekend of his 1st bday. That next week he took off and is a walking machine. At his one year app he weighted 20.2 in the 25% and was in 10th% for height cant remember how tall I think 29. His head was like 35th%. Everything looked good and he is a healthy boy! So grateful for him!
